• Data Collected Automatically: We automatically collect certain information when you access the Service, such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, and pages viewed. We use tracking technologies like cookies (via Google Analytics) to help understand user behavior, customize the Service, and improve your experience.
• Image Data: Images uploaded for appliance submissions are stored on Vercel Blob Storage. These images are used solely to provide details to potential pickup partners.

• To process and manage appliance pickup requests and connect users with local partners for free appliance removal.
• To manage partner accounts, including processing subscriptions and per-lead payments through Stripe.

• To analyze usage and trends to improve our Service, optimize our website, and for marketing purposes (e.g., understanding which locations are most popular).

• Appliance Pickup Partners: When you submit an appliance pickup request, your contact information (name, email, phone) and address details, along with appliance information and images, are shared with our network of local pickup partners in your service area. This is essential for partners to contact you and arrange pickup. Partners on the free per-lead model will have this information redacted until they choose to pay for the lead.
• Service Providers: We share data with third-party vendors who perform services for us, including:
  • Stripe (for payment processing and subscription management).
  • Google Analytics (for website analytics and usage tracking).
  • Resend (for sending transactional and notification emails).
  • Vercel Blob Storage (for secure storage of uploaded appliance images).
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect our rights or property, or ensure the safety of our users or the public.

Associated images uploaded with submissions are automatically deleted from our storage after 30 days. Partner account information is retained for the duration of the partnership and as required by law.
